ISTDP International offers a wide range of training opportunities designed to support both beginners and advanced practitioners in developing their clinical skills. All our teachers and supervisors are accredited by the International Experiential Dynamic Therapy Association (IEDTA).
Our training programs include:
- Core Group Training (3 years) – the foundation program for learning ISTDP theory and techniques.
- Advanced Core Group Training – for therapists who wish to deepen their expertise.
- Intervision Groups – peer learning and case discussions among colleagues.
- Workshops, Seminars, Masterclasses, Conferences, and Summer Schools – intensive learning formats on specialized topics.
- Teacher and Supervisor Courses – advanced training leading to accreditation as ISTDP trainers, teachers, or supervisors.
Who can participate?
Our educational activities are open to:
- psychotherapists,
- clinical and healthcare psychologists,
- psychiatrists and medical doctors,
- marital and family therapists,
working in the mental health care sector.
Through these programs, participants can progress toward becoming accredited ISTDP therapists, trainers, teachers, or supervisors. Continuous education ensures that our members maintain high standards of professional competence and remain connected to the international ISTDP community.
